Open field Chinese Stories program provide children regular exposure to Chinese language in a fun and open environment which can cultivate and develop the interest in learning Mandarin.
Each 1 hour session comprises simple circle time for dialogue speaking, welcoming children songs then followed by a storytelling, art craft and/or drama activities. There will be some sensory play and/or gross motor skill activity related to the theme of the story. Children learn in many ways. Let them play, help them grow, encourage them to create, teach them to care and enable them to share. All sessions are adult-accompanied and ideal for toddler 18 months to 3 years old.
Stories/puppet show – imagination stimulate children interest in mandarin and build foundation for speaking
Art craft – fine motor skill
Music work and movement games – simple pick up song for easy learning of language through rhythmic music and movement
Activity time – children develop gross motor skill, confidence, independence and social interaction
