This was such a lovely event for the four of us who attended. The choice of location at the Botanics Gardens was just gorgeous, with dappled sunlight under the shade of the yellow rain trees. Teacher Shu Hui was gentle, patient, observant and super encouraging. After a short demo of the sketch outline, she let the kids get started freely. From time to time, she checked in with my kids, watching their progress quietly, before she gave them bite-sized guidance or suggestions. She never tried to do the drawing or painting for my kids, nor imposed her ideas. Instead, she let them take a lot of ownership of their paintings. She also didn't rush them when we overran the activity duration. In the end, my kids were really proud of their completed works. Would highly recommend her lessons to any family.
