Hello parents! I am Chloe, a piano teacher for more than half a decade of teaching experience in music school and also privately. As an experienced piano teacher and a mummy of 2 beautiful girls, I grew an interest in teaching piano for my children. As traditional piano books didn’t fit well with my child’s learning style, I have since looked for and found a non-traditional piano teaching method that is specially redesigned for younger children. After using the method to teach my daughter piano, I was so thrilled to find the method to be so creative, fun and imaginative yet not overwhelming and intimidating for her. It was so good that she got so excited to play music on the piano on her own initiative. I have gone through teacher training for the method right after my discovery and am proud to be licensed to teach the piano method to other young children.
Aside from piano teaching, I am very passionate in teaching art to my children. I would usually include arts and crafts into my piano lessons as an addition teaching material, because I feel art and music should always go hand-in-hand. Due to my passion in teaching younger children and being a mother who loves to socialise, I’d love to organize programs/play dates in the future that includes more arts and crafts, storytelling session in parks/nature, cooking/baking session, or beach cleanup (volunteering works).
