Please read these Terms & Conditions carefully as they contain important information about your legal rights, remedies and obligations. By accessing or using the Hommeet platform, you agree to comply with and be bound by these Terms & Conditions.
In the present Terms & Conditions, these terms are used and defined as follows:
Hosts are the suppliers of Hommeet offerings. Hommeet hosts are defined as such when their profile appears online on the platform and they can receive bookings via Hommeet.
Users are the customers of Hommeet , using the platform to make a reservation, a purchase, give a review or communicate with hosts.

Service Fee means an amount due and payable by a Host for using the Hommeet platform.
Content means text, graphics, images, music, software, audio, video, information or other materials.
Hommeet takes 20% of each Activity booking and sale of Product (if any) for the platform, Services, support we provide and payment gateway fee.

You are responsible for (i) understanding and complying with all laws, rules and regulations that may apply to your Activity & Product(s), (ii) obtaining any required licenses, permits, or registrations prior to providing your Activity & Product(s); and (iii) ensuring that your listing and/or hosting of an Activity & Product(s) will not breach any agreement you may have with any third party.
Hosts alone are responsible for the Activity & Product(s)that they submit, list and provide. Hommeet ’s responsibilities are limited to making the listings for Activity & Product(s) available through the Hommeet platform. Hommeet does not own, sell, resell, furnish, provide, manage and/or control any such Activity & Product(s).
By offering your Activity & Product(s) as a Host to the User you earn income. You are responsible for following all applicable laws and tax requirements in your country. Hosts are advised to consult their nearest local tax offices or their tax advisors as to their specific tax consequences.
Commitment to Bookings
Hosts must honor all booked activities with minimum 3 bookings (1 booking for virtual workshop), unless there is a valid emergency or unavoidable circumstance (death, severe damage to the venue that makes it unsafe to User, natural disasters, endemic disease or illness that suddenly affects a region, serious illness of a Host). The following penalties will be applied for host cancellations with minimum 3 bookings. If there is no 3 bookings received 5 days before Activity, a Host can cancel an Activity with no penalty.
Because cancellations disrupt Users’ plans and impact confidence in the Hommeet community, the following penalties will be applied for host cancellations UNLESS there is a valid emergency or unavoidable circumstance (death, severe damage to the venue that makes it unsafe to User, natural disasters, endemic disease or illness that suddenly affects a region, serious illness of a Host).
A fee will be deducted from your first payout after a cancellation or a penalty will be issued. The amount deducted will depend on how soon before Activity you canceled it:
More than 7 days before Activity, we’ll deduct $50 from your next payout
Less than 7 days before Activity, we’ll deduct $100 from your next payout
ALL CANCELLATIONS HAVE TO NOTIFY HOMMEET.
Non Compete Based on Programme and Date
If a same or similar program is run on the Host’s platform, then the cost of the program should be same or lower than what is charged on Hommeet. Failure to adhere to this, would result in disqualification as a Hommeet host.
By making your Activity available for a particular date and time on the Hommeet platform, you agree that only people who book through Hommeet can attend that Activity. You further agree that you will not allow people to attend any of your Activity available on the Hommeet platform for a particular date and time unless that person booked through Hommeet.
Hosts are not to solicit their programs directly to Hommeet Users. Failure to adhere to this, would result in disqualification as a Hommeet host.
